The following general guidelines should be followed for every fountain setup:
- The fountain should be set up on a flat, level surface to ensure proper water flow
- A properly prepared base of gravel, flagstone, or other hardscaping material is preferred to maintain stability for outdoor fountain installations. Hanging fountains should be properly anchored to avoid damage to walls and fountains. Remember to account for the weight of water when choosing your anchor.
- Check that the pump works BEFORE assembly by placing it in a bucket of water and operating the pump
- A fountain pump should only be connected to a properly grounded 110-volt (AC only) GFCI-protected receptacle
- A consistent filling is required to maintain the proper water level and ensure the pump remains fully submerged. If the water level is too low, the pump will be damaged. How often a fountain should be filled depends on water flow and specific weather conditions in which the fountain is running. An appropriate water level is also required for proper fountain performance.
- Keep pump inflow free of debris to ensure proper water flow. Periodic cleaning of the pump will extend its life.
- If desired, the fountain may be cleaned with mild soap and a soft bristle brush. DO NOT use bleach as this may affect the patina.
- Algaecides available at pond supply or garden shops can be used to combat the buildup of algae.
- Always follow general winter care for fountains as described in this fountain care guide.

Toughest dang balls I ever played with

These things are amazing. We have a ball obsessed Husky mix and he has destroyed Kongs, Chuck Its, and a whole lot of other ball shaped objects. These things? We bought the 4 pack because we bought 4 Chuck Its and they lasted a year, all 4 of them only a year, before they were destroyed. A year after buying these? We only bought more because he lost 3 of them. I think we did find one under the dresser after buying this pack... But the others? They either ended up thrown over the fence into the woods or lost in the holes in the yard the monster digs up. Other than a few pockmarks from his teeth and maybe some mud, they may as well be brand new even after a year or two. Probably the most chew resistant thing we've ever bought him. They're really solid rubber and since he hasn't managed to bite into them to take out a chunk, they're safe as hell. Being as big as they are, I don't worry he's gonna choke unattended on them like the usual size of ball. About the only concern is forcing breaks so he can have breathing moments when he manages to talk us into fetch outside. It fits in the larger Chuck It thrower too, so we haven't lost any value from having those torn up.

Sturdy bouncy fun!

Great product. My big 70lb Sheppard puppy loves it, hasn’t stopped playing with it since it arrived. She throws it about and chases it, had a good chew on it and even put it in her favorite toys bin. Sturdy, firm and very bouncy. And there are 3 more in the bag for an awesome price. Bright color will make it easy to find and holes thru it will prevent choking and I can string it on a line for training play.

Great quality balls for tough chewers. I love them, but wish the orange ones were available more...I've been checking cuz they are easier to find in the yard than the green that blends in. Our dogs love them and I like the weight for throwing.

Great for heavy chewers! Belgian Malinois Approved!

I bought these 6 months ago because my dog kept loosing his Kong balls. These were such a better price ball (but still had good reviews) that I thought I would give them a try. They are wonderful. After six months of chewing and chasing and playing with a Belgian Malinois, the two that I’ve gotten out are still in great condition. The bright color makes them easier to find, so none have been permanently lost yet.
They are bouncier and a little bit lighter weight compared to the Kong balls of the same size, which I honestly appreciate because my maligator likes to shoot them at my feet.
So far the material seems high quality and I feel safe letting the dog chew on it for hours on end.
The 8 pack was cheaper than 2 Kong balls. A great deal for a great product!!
